What's the difference between this and a portable air purifier?

A portable unit only cleans the air in the room it's sitting in. A whole-home system like Super V installs directly into your ductwork, so every room your HVAC system serves gets treated air — not just one room.

Is Super V the same as a HEPA filter?

It goes beyond standard HEPA. Super V uses DFS technology to capture particles down to 0.007 microns — HEPA is typically rated at 0.3 microns — while maintaining airflow closer to a standard filter than a true HEPA bypass setup requires.

Is this a good fit for a mold-sensitive or CIRS-recovery home?
