Does my electrical panel need to be upgraded for an EV charger?
Sometimes — older homes especially may not have the spare capacity for a Level 2 charger without a panel upgrade. We assess this before quoting the install, not after.
Do I need a permit for a home EV charger?
Generally yes, in most Orange County jurisdictions. We handle the permit and inspection coordination as part of the install.
Can this be done at the same time as HVAC work?
